The world of Warhammer is one of war. It is a medieval world where the noble knights of Bretonnia ride to battle and seek the Grail of the Lady for king and glory and where the Empire churns it's mighty machines of war and builds its cities on faith and power. Meanwhile, Vampire Kingdom of Slyvania stirs from a long lethargy under a new leader and the obscene powers of Chaos twist and warp men and beasts beyond the mountains where the Dwarves delve for treasures within the bones of the earth. The nations of the High Elves, Dark Elves and Wood Elves hold tight to their old secrets and feud with one another over them. Likewise, forces such as Orcs and other Greenskins, Skaven, Lizardmen and the slumbering Tomb Lords also vie for power within this world, each as unwilling as the next to lay down their arms.
