In the distant future of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a nuclear holocaust killed off three-fourths of the Worlds population; entire species and nations disappearing after a single moment in time. Billions and billions of lives being snuffed out, but there were those who survived. Mutanimals and Humans have been waging a war of survival against one another for over four hundred years, taking their bloody battles with them into space. The newly unified Kingdoms of Lunar Prime have re-opened their Four Ways Ninja academies, linking with the Human-Mutanimals Shadow Academies of Mars. The Venusians Imperials returned to their clouded planet to plot again against their hated animal enemies.
This is a split-off continuality of the After the Bomb game, previous to Palladium loosing the TMNT licence, with edits on the moon base becoming Lunar Prime (where mutants formerly were the only inhabitants), and allowing for mutant characters who follow from the ninjitsu schools founded by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in After the Bomb.
