In the 23rd century, mankind has fulfilled its dream of touching the stars. After Earth's chaos was led to order by the Vulcans and the invention of the warp drive, a golden age dawned upon humanity, and the Federation of Planets formed. The Federation soon found war with the Klingon Empire, and numerous other alien threats. In the stars, there is no peace — but the men and women of the Federation, supported by their space fleet, seek to change that. As Shakespeare said, peace is the undiscovered country.
