Fa'Diel is a world of magic, where the eight elements of mana are kept in balance by the grace of the goddess and the work of the elemental spirits… Or at least that's how it was. The goddess was killed in what has become known as the War of Mana, and while magic left, peace entered between the six primary nations. However, on Unification, magic returned. Mana is balanced, but no one yet understands why this has happened.
