Aya Brea, MIST investigator into the outbreak of insofar unique strains of Neo Mitochondrial Creatures explores a world of mutant monsters and inhuman creations in a strange variant of modern magic. In control of her own mitochondria during the initial mitochondrial rebellion, she has been sent to investigate a potential new threat from an old, familiar source, track down the source of the monsters and end the threat before it brings about the end of humanity.
