One-hundred years after the Elf Wars, and even longer after the Maverick Wars, Neo Arcadia has risen under the rule of Copy-X. Innocent Reploids are falsely declared Maverick and hunted down like animals due to the shortage of E-Crystals. With the help of the Resistance, the researcher Ciel has awakened Zero from his hibernation, hoping that he can put an end to this once and for all and create peace between humans and Reploids.
