The colorful world of Popstar is the focus of the Kirby series. Inhabited by an assortment of interesting, colorful characters (and some darker, powerful ones), this world is watched over by Kirby and the Fountain of Dreams. Though constantly harassed by the likes of King Dedede and sometimes threatened by the omnipotent Nightmare in many different forms, Popstar remains peaceful because of the efforts of the famous pink puffball.
