The view was … spectacular. Breathtaking. All but the most verbose of people would be left speechless, for what those rushing for the presumed hostiles now saw before them defied belief. The Great Oceans had lowered by a considerable amount, leaving a visible streak of land that was formerly under water now in the open. And up, up in the air floated something.

Cristalized water, or perhaps ice, it was difficult to tell at a distance — an entire mountain of it, defying gravity. A small trickle of snow and ice were falling down from the island, blown around by a chilly wind.

And atop it all hovered the sole man responsible for this phenomenon: Victor von Doom. Absolute ruler of Latveria and de facto military leader of the Grand Confederation. His armored form was glowing with the intensity of a sun as he gathered his energies, utterly ignoring the comparatively unspectacular figure standing witness nearby — protected by a globe of frozen atoms, protecting from the cold and possible harm that might come to her in the process of the confrontation that would surely soon follow.

And somewhere nearby, probably floating in some sort of observer unit or something, Inaiya is there. Said observer unit has no weapons, and has a flag on it saying 'dammit don't attack me' if people scan it. And it just hovers there. With Inaiya in it. Watching.

Young Link would have caught a ship from the eastern shore, but now he doesn't have to! So he rides on Epona, along the new land bridge, towards the massive ice tower. "I bet I'll need Goron form for this," he says to himself.

Far, far away, on the Planetary Plains.. Deep within the recesses of Miles Prower's private workshop in New Mobotropolis. "Miles! MILES!" "What?!" The fox looked up from his work, startled by the yelling. "A comm.. A comm.." The messenger huffed and puffed. "Deeeep breaths, Walker, deep breaths." The youth nodded a bit. "A communique from oceanic Mobians. Whales, dolphins, sharks, even jellyfish. Their whole community is in danger!" The fox looked puzzled. "..From what?" "Dr. Doom.. He's frozen a huge section of the Great Ocean, not too far above them. They'll freeze to death in hours if something isn't done. The young, old, and sickly are already beginning to drop."

Miles looked puzzled for a moment. ..Why would Doom bother them?.. Unless he didn't know, or really care, that they were there.. "Alright, assemble a strike force- Two squads of Knights, a platoon of militia, and some air support! Get them airborne fast as you can, I'll go on ahead and see what I can do!" And off the fox went, flying off as fast as he could once he'd grabbed his guns and his backpack. Now was a time for fast Gate-hopping and even faster tail work.

Jesus Christ I need to learn to make smaller intro poses, don't I?

High up in the sky, a rainbow portal opens, and a set of tracks forms out from it from thin air. And barreling out onto those tracks comes the white and black Train of Time, DenLiner, barreling full-speed toward the mountain. The portal closes behind it, and the tracks fold themselves up into nothing just as they appeared.

In the cockpit of the DenLiner, Ryotaro frowns. "…How does he have so much power?!" Behind him, all four Imagin stand, quiet and grim as they watch… until Momotaros reaches out and pats Den-O lightly on the shoulder. "Oi. No time for questionin' now. If anyone can do it, Ryotaro, you can." Ryotaro nods his head slightly.

And down the DenLiner dips, circling around the edge of the mass of ice, before turning inward. Ryotaro flips up a mollyguard on the DenBird and hits the button with his thumb - and the front of the DenLiner snaps open, allowing him to launch out of it on his signature motorcycle as a Rider. The second the DenBird lands, its tires start kicking up powder, and the bike tears across the ice towards Doom.

Shirou'd made his way on the Denliner with Ryotaro and Saber. He makes a reinforced leap out of the Denliner not long after Ryotaro's exit. He's already got the twin swords traced…he just wished he'd had more time to dress approriately… Oh well, that's less important than whatever Doom's trying to accomplish with this, for certain.

Just after Den-O departs from his time-travelling train, another individual departs from the hatch right after him… though 'launch' might be a better description. They're almost like a bullet flying through the air, a blurry mass of gleaming silvery metal and fluttering royal blue cloth. Even that's hard to make out, given the comet-like burst of mana flaring about their figure. They rocket for the frozen monolith in a soaring arc…

It's only when they near it that they're finally properly visible. "YaaaaaAAAAHHH!!!" CRUUUUNCH!!! The impact sends piles of ice and snow flying, but when it's all over with… Saber stands on the mountain, one hand clenched about her invisible sword, while the business end is lodged into the ice for a proper handhold.

She looks up toward the top, lips pressed firmly together and eyes narrowed rather seriously. She means business here. "Commanding the ice like this… how is it being accomplished?!"

As all these individuals arrived, jumping out of a teleporting train of all things, Doom remained aloft and quite unimpressed. He merely regarded them with an unreadable expression in his eyes as the blinding light that continually streamed from his form began to ebb down until it was little more than a glowing sheathe around his armor. Then, finally, he descended towards the icy ground.

"It is quite natural that you question, for you could not possible comprehend the actions and power of an intellect so beyond you as yours is to that of the common ant." He gestured dismissively towards the Union elites. "But, very well. I shall make the effort to explain in little words for you — I have increased my power expotentially by means that are of no concern to you. This is merely a stage to test my prowess. Allow me to demonstrate."

No gesture, merely a thought and the Power Multiversial flowing through every cell of Doom's being turned will to reality. The results were instantaneous, catastrophic and quite unnatural. The ice that provided a slippery foothold to the trio standing bravely before the supercharged Field Marshal suddenly seemed far less stable as it turned first vicious, then red-hot as the frozen water underneath them suddenly transformed itself into a sea of molten lava.

Young Link makes it to the scene (probably using his Hookshot or something to get up there) just in time to see the ice turn to fire. He stops at the edge of it, surprised at the sudden transformation. "I can handle this," he says, bringing forth his Goron Mask and wearing it, allowing him to inhabit the body of a Goron- a species that is well-suited to extreme heat and cold.

Miles, going as fast as he could, faltered a little on his way there. "GUH?!" A sudden wave of power washing over him like the first aches of an extremely powerful hangover. So much.. Raw power. Like Chaos. Like the Force. Magic. Immense psychic prowess. Except.. Somehow, so much more. So MUCH more than that. "By the Gods.. What's happening?" Shaking off the sudden surprise, the fox continued on his way!

And then he arrived. "My Gods.. It's.." His eyes started to glow, of their own volition, the Chaos radiation in his body reacting to Doom's incredible power. It was beautiful and terrible to behold, from a purely metaphysical standpoint. Like watching a spiritual, psychic, and cosmic train accident- he couldn't look away even if he wanted to. He felt himself being.. Drawn towards it. Like an addict who's just seen a mountain of heroin to dive into.

There's really only one defense when the very footing you're in turns hostile. Get the heck off. But though Saber tries, it's a painful endeavor. Molten rock threatens to pierce and boil her boots, and set her clothes aflame. The only saving grace there is that they're all crafted from mana, and aren't a purely physical existence. The heat, the blaze, the boiling area that scorches her throat however, those are pretty painful too.

"Aaaahh!!" She spends only a moment checking to make sure Shirou has a method of surviving before she yanks Invisible Air from the lava and swings it right downward with a heavy battlecry. The rebound as the barrier releases a huge burst of wind sends her flying up the mountain at a prodigious pace, then slams into the ice once more and starts climbing normally. In less than a minute she'd be at the very top at this pace.

When she finally reaches a more solid perch. She's actually scowling in disapproval. "Putting aside that cowardly tactic.. what are you intentions for this power, Dr. Doom?! Are you treating those of us who came to investigate as mere test subjects?!"

Ryotaro didn't expect an attack like that. How could he? The ice under his feet suddenly turning to lava is something no one would expect. But it happens. It happens, and Ryotaro is barely able to leap out of the way with his feet seared a bit for his trouble. It's comparatively little damage, but it's damage that will affect his fighting dramatically, so it might as well be a bad burn along his side or the like.

He rolls to a halt on the ice, and lets out a grunt of pain. That's when the DenLiner swoops by - and from it is launched a large, somewhat unwieldly-looking sword, which Ryotaro reaches up and catches. It seems to be heavy, but he holds it firmly, and stands up, nodding to himself. "I can do it… we've got to stop him!" And up he stands fully, taking a breath to steel himself against the sting of his feet, before he launches into a full-speed forward charge. His aim is to get in close to Doom and launch a quick, powerful series of sword strikes. "Haaaaah!"

"Foolish girl, if I wanted you all dead you would already be so," Doom stated, utterly convinced that his words were the truth. "I have far greater designs for this Multiverse than you can ever understand; know this, the Multidimensional entity we exist in grows further and further with each minute, absorbing other dimensions like you breathe air. None but Doom can realize the full scope of this and it falls to me to find the means to stop it. This power is but the beginning."

As he said those last words, he casually caught the sword that Shirou threw at him in his right fist without even glancing at it. Smoke rose from the metal touching it as the conflicting energies fought each other, but ultimately this did not last for very long at all as Doom suddely threw the sword right back!

Of course, it was that precise moment when Ryotaro clashed against him, striking potentially fatal blows against Doom's armor — but as soon as they came close to touching Doom the swords became heavier and heavier, as if they were moving through molasses. He was certainly hitting Doom, but somehow the damage was minimal. "To slow your weapons is child's play to me, Rider — the little harm you may inflict upon my armor shall be repaired momentarily. Now, begone!"

A quick flash of that blinding light and a pulse of concussive force rammed straight towards Ryotaro, meant to throw him back.

Shirou manages to dodge his own sword getting thrown at him by…using this set of sword's special ability. He throws the other sword, and since they're magicaly magnetized to eachother the first sword goes flying along with it instead of going back to Shirou. He continues his chanting as well. "I have created over a thousand blades. Without ever retreating, Nor once being understood…."

The DenKamen Sword is already a heavy weapon - so the added weight and slowed movement are easily noticeable, but by the same token it retains enough momentum on strikes that it might surprise even Doom. But the moment he realizes how hard it is to hit, Ryotaro leaps high, clearing a dozen meters without any seeming effort and going right over the concussive blast to land further back on the ice. "He's too strong…" Ryotaro muses. If Momo's sword skill can't beat it…

Kchunk. Kchunk. KinAx.

When Ryotaro strides forward again, it's slower. But he's now carrying the DenKamen Sword in one hand, as if it suddenly weighed a lot less to him. "I'm not leaving… not until we stop you!" He brings the DenKamen Sword up into both hands, and begins another attack, this one several harsh overhead strikes… which carry a lot more strength to them. "Haaaah!"

Saber gapes. Doom's sheer arrogance clearly has her stunned speechless. Not a single being in existence she knows of could possibly match the intellect to understand the situation with the arrogance to think themselves so much superior. "Indeed. I agree! So very few can grasp the meaning of this world. But as you are right now, you are not worthy of such responsibility. I find such arrogance unbecoming of a ruler… you are foolishly blinded by yourself!!" With that yell, she brings Invisible Air to bear and takes more proper footing.
Invisible Air bends and warps, giving off a sudden radiant emerald sheen as energy streams forth and a strange howling sound comes from the blade. "TAAAAAAAH!!"

Saber swings the blade of wind with all her might straight for Doom's side!

A bit of effort, a bit of time, and an utterly massive amount of mana was needed to tear open the portal that was about to appear over the central ocean. Niv-Mizzet, planeswalker that he is, still needed a lot of time to get this portal started. At first its as typical as any of his portals, torn open by his own hands, rimmed in red and blue energies, but once its open the dragon slips through, 'grabs' the top edge of the portal with both hands, then starts flying upward at an angle, causing the portal to get much, MUCH larger then it was. The reason for this can be seen beyond the portal. Thirix, most well known as the Izzet's research spire in New Washington, has once again converted into its flight form and is now poised on the other side, waiting to move through. And its guns are all out and ready to go.
Its golden form is arcing with both red and blue mana all along its surface, blue to keep it aloft, red for the thrusters at the back and the armaments waiting to be used. The strain on Niv, if one were to look, is rather significant. When he finally -does- get the portal open and the spire starts to move forward, a massive swell of magical energies could probably be felt by those sensitive to such a thing. The fatigued red dragon moves back to enter the spire while Thianel, at its helm, is the one ready to give orders as needed to all of the Izzet league within the spire. While Niv may not be the one to speak, Thianel speaks with all the authority that Niv has. "Doom! You -will- not be allowed to proceed here!" And that's all the warning he's going to get. In the next few moments the spike of energies coming from Thirix would only increase, preparing to do what it needs to aid those all around.

As Ryotaro reinforced his efforts Doom's eyes narrowed in annoyance. "You still do not realize the power you face," noted the dictator as he manipulated his own molecules to turn himself as insubstantial as the air and allowed the strikes to pass right through him. Of course, when one is as insubstantial as the air one is sadly not protected from the wind.

And as such when Saber jumps in her blade goes right through Doom, but with quite the result! Doom was split in two, a large gap between his torso and the lower part of his body. A scream of rage escaped him as energy flared from his eyes and exploded from his form, bathing the entirety of the ice plain in seering bright white-hot light. Niv-Mizzet's ship arrived just in time to get caught up in it

When the flash died down, Doom stood there once again, seemingly unharmed. "You are the epitome of arrogance, girl, to presume to speak so to Doom. I neither boast nor exaggerate. The lesser mind always dismisses what it cannot accept."

Young Link crouches into a ball, shielding himself somewhat from the effects of the attack. "I guess Goron form's not going to do much good here," he says, putting his hands to his face and reverting to normal Hylian form. "If there's ever been a time to use the Fierce Deity Mask it's now. I don't know how well it'll work against him, but against powers like that…"

Once again, Ryotaro finds his attack not nearly as effective as he'd like. "W-what?!" The DenKamen Sword goes right through Doom. And in a startled panic, Ryotaro leaps, this time even higher - a full 30 meters of height, and a good distance back as well. Somehow, it manages to protect him from the brunt of Doom's wide-area attack, leaving Liner Form sizzling slightly, but otherwise undamaged, and Ryotaro himself uninjured. When he lands, it's in a crouch. "How are we supposed to deal with that?"

On the DenLiner, Kintaros pups his neck, then folds his arms across his chest. "Keep swingin'. He can't do that all th' time, or he'd be doin' it all th' time!"

Ryotaro nods. And this time, he runs in quickly, bringing the DenKamen Sword up as his charge reaches Doom, and unloads another series of hard overhead chops with that brutal, bearlike strength!

"Ghhh…!!" A rush of energy. Boiling. Grating… white pain flashes past Saber, inflicting numerous scorches across flesh, armor, and battledress without distinction. She's forced to close her eyes lest they be boiled from the sheer heat, But when it passes… she's still standing bravely, stalwart no matter the opposition as always.

She raises Invisible Air once more and readies herself, glaring at Doom. "Is that so…?" Her eyes narrow, tone dipping into showing a few sparks of anger. It seems Doom has actually succeeded in insulting her for the first time. "Very well, then if we successfully overcome you, I expect you to retract that statement!!"

With a wordless yell, Saber puts full strength into her arms and swings the blade again, this time from an angle opposite Ryotaro's blow— in this case, a sweeping upward slash that would start at the legs.

Shirou manages to trace Rho Aias to protect himself from the attack BARELY in time. Some people wonder why it takes him so long to do this attack… Well considering how he has to FOCUS so damn much though things like THIS, and he's trying to use what's actualy more than his entire store (As he's pulling from another source…and this would also be why he's never kept it going for long) all at ONCE? It'll take a damn lot of effort. "Withstood pain to create many weapons. Chasing a far-off dream…." As he's chanting more and more a ring of fire is forming around the battle scene. It's a very odd ring of fire considering it's not actualy burning anything at all…it's crawling higher and higher upward and trying to form a sort of dome with the passing moments too.

When the wave crashes over Thirix, the ship's shield shimmers for a moment, a potent white barrier protecting it from a lot of damage. Within, Niv and Thianel both captain the bridge w hile the fight below is going on. Both seem somewhat displeased with how things are going on for a simple reason. With so many people in close to Doom its becoming very hard to just let loose with the weapons on Thirix, that is at least until Niv gets a bright idea, "Reconfigure the cannons for lightning strikes! I -will- have him hit!" he calls. "Configuration complete!" comes over the comms and no sooner does the magewright say so that Thianel barks, "FIRE!" The cannons go bright with red mana and then the electric comes pouring down. Lightning never strikes twice? Clearly that is a mistaken phrase.

Doom glared at Ryotaro as his sword met sudden resistance in the air — a barrier formed by hardened air molecules, deflecting the blade. "My power is only limited by my thoughts, fool — and that is no limit at all. I have a myriad ways to defeat you all." As Saber suddenly struck with her blade from below, Doom was forced back by the impact against his hardened metal shell.

As Saber's sword hit Doom, at the very same moment Doom was pushed back, the lightning struck, stunning Doom for a brief second. His cape was singed and in tatters, but his enhanced energy levels had clearly allowed him to survive the blast with relatively little damage. At some point his power had to weaken, and then was the time to strike! Hopefully.

"I allowed you to attack me unhindered, -servant-, to demonstrate the futility of your attacks, but I'll do so no longer." He pointed his open palm towards Saber, but stated at the same time while narrowing his eyes. "Do not think I've forgotten you, either, reality projector."

And suddenly, the awesome abilities of the Power Multiversial were revealed yet again as Doom removed the very air around the heads of his opponents, creating a vaccuum around them. And the insidious thing about a vaccuum of that nature? It also pulls the air out of your lungs, leaving the hapless victim in quite a breathless state.

Shirou goes wide eyed as he realizes he's not getting air anymore. He doesn't HAVE to say those words to finish the spell but those words keep him focused so he CAN do it. Augh. He gasps as he tries to continue, the mythical shield flickering out. "I have n-no….*gasp*…regrets, t-this is…*gasp* the only…*gasp* …path….*gasp*" Need to finish…have to get…air back…aughh…head…feeling…light…not good… Shirou's already wobbling a bit and starting to lose his footing thanks to his persistance. Silly human speicies NEEDING air.

Ryotaro is, as Kamen Rider Den-O, shielded from the harshness of 'no air whatsoever'. He actually looks around in confusion, trying to figure out why everyone seems to be choking and gasping. "W-what did he do-?!" But then it hits him. They're all gasping as though they can't breathe. "He removed the air?!" That's a horribly dangerous ability… but Ryotaro seems to be protected. If he's the only one who can move right now, then his only recourse is clear.

He turns towards Doom and runs in again - this time full-speed, at a pace fast enough to match cars on the freeway. "Stop suffocating them!" He's not that good at battle cries, give him a break. But one thing he IS good at, when he's borrowing the Imagins' skills at least, is launching brutal, straightforward attacks.

A smirk is shared between the dragons on the Bridge of Thirix. A hit, and a good one. "Keep him busy," Niv advises as he suddenly rushes off the bridge, which leaves a confused Thianel behind. Regardless of that, the azure construct turns back to the main window, and down on Doom, "Ready another salvo! I want him -glowing- before we're done!" he barks out. Those cannons start to charge once more, and before long status comes, "Ready sir!" "FIRE!" Yes, Doom, You're getting struck by even MORE electricity. How shocking.

The ocean split- well, not perfectly of course, but waves of water were thrown away from where the small Mobian fox had been so rudely thrown into the icy waters. Judging by the aura of red and black around him, he was less than pleased- and ready to lay a cosmic beatdown.. But then the aura changed, folding in on itself- if that makes sense- and bursting forth again as his more common golden aura with green electric sparks. "…" He said nothing at first, he simply hovered high into the air, and held his hands out towards Doom and those fighting him..

Shirou and Saber and anyone else who might find it 'difficult' or 'completely impossible' to breathe in a vacuum would feel themselves suddenly buffeted and surrounded by breatheable atmosphere, along with the sensation of being carried in a gentle breeze; as though the Winds themselves were lending them their power.

Young Link scrambles for his Fierce Deity mask as he coughs, not knowing what to expect. The mask looks similar to his own face, only with white hair, red lines beneath the eyes, and visibly older. "Here… goes…" he says, and affixes the mask to his face. With a painful cry, young Link now grows into Fierce Deity Link- he looks about seven years older now, and is clad in silver and black. He draws his helix-shaped sword, holding it in both hands. "This…" Link says in a voice full of anger, feeling the breeze wash over him, "is my last resort."

so much for follow-through. As Saber recovers from that swipe, she grimaces. "…!" What was Doom about to do? She hoists Invisible Air to reach in again and show Dr. Doom how foolish it was to ignore her when.. "…Hyahgh!!" The air rushes right out of her lungs, leaving her gasping in futility. Saber drops to her knees, clutching her throat… but, fighting her burning lungs, she stands up again.

And swings her blade. Wind bursts forth in slicing gales. It's not very powerful, but it's very quick and rather difficult to predict. And it lets Saber gulp down a few breaths of air…

Excalibur is now bared for all to see. The Servant's eyes blaze with determination, containing volumes of unspoken spirit. She can't afford to waste any air with words against Doom right now.

The monarch was knocked back by the intensity of Ryotaro's sudden attack, actually falling to the ground as the ice underneath his feet provided little adhesion. His armor had withstood the blade yet again, but the sheer power of Ryotaro's strikes had him reeling. "Very well," he stated. "Such a victory would ring hollow." And the regular air rushed back in, though thanks to Miles intervention it was not really necessary. Then Saber attacked, but she had had the wind knocked out of her quite literally and despite the fact that the reeling Doom was somewhat of an easy target even her wind blade could not to a lot of damage in her weakened state.

Doom recovered quickly from the two suceeding attacks, though, as already his deep, eloquent voice rang out again. "Did I mention that my Power Multiversial also allows me to redirect and intensify energy if I so wish?" Doom mocked, only moments before the lightning struck again. He raised his hand, still lying on the ground and got struck square on his palm, but rather than electrify the man in the armor the energy surged through him harmlessly and into the ground.

No problem, right? Ice isn't a good conductor.

Then, suddenly, the ground was electrified. After all, when one wields the Power Multiversial one can simply -make- ice a good conductor.

This actually causes Thianel a bit of surprise. He -almost- tells the cannonrunners to switch over to fireball configuration but well… ice mountain, that won't work so well. Thinking quickly, the dragon smiles then, "Switch to Delta pattern! He won't just shove this one away!" he calls out before glaring back down toward the Confederate leader. "Such a power can't be allowed to be held by you.." he growls. In some part of his mind he was still wondering where Niv was, but that didn't matter just now. "Ready sir!" "FIRE!" This time when the cannons light up there's no electricity to be seen. What happens is just a single cannon firing, a larger one from the front center of the ship. What decends upon Doom this time is a single, lone, -blazing-, blue fireball. .. Its -frigid-.

Shirou finally breathes in air instead of nothing again, though it might be a bit too late… He's still looking rather unstable as he finishes his chant, causing more than what's left of his own mana to come flowing from him all at once. "So as I pray…UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS." The fire around them then finishes forming the dome before it explodes into blinding light. How he managed to miss that lightning is ANYONE'S guess.

Whatever the case, for a short moment everyone that was on the ice mountain's temporarily transported to a large hill of sand that's got endless numbers of legendary weapons stabbed into it. The sky is clear and orange and goes on as far as the eye can see, just like the sand and weapons do. You all have this round only to take advantage of it somehow by the way, cause it's going down fast.

An uncountable number of the swords surround the space above Doom before they all start attempting to shishkabob him at once.

Ryotaro only barely realizes what Doom is trying in time, and even THAT is only because of a misconception to begin with - he thinks water is a good conductor, and thus that ice would naturally also be a good conductor. So he's saved by his ignorance, and even then only barely. He once again leaps into the air, this time to his full jump height of 45 meters in the air. It's a soaring leap, and by the time he comes down the electricity's stopped flowing. The ice CRUNCHES under his feet as his heavy weight hits.

And Ryotaro launches right into his next attack. "I don't care about that! I don't know about this 'Power Multiversal'. I don't understand a lot of things. But if you're going to fight my friends, I'll stop you…!"

Young Link reflexively jumps, avoiding the electric floor. Then he starts swinging his sword madly in Doom's direction, firing rings of crackling blue magic energy toward the enemy with each swing. "Hya! Haa! Sha!" he cries with each chop.

When Ash heard that 'Doom was coming to destroy us all', he thought that it was just another day. However, it was Doom as in the Doctor kind rather than Doom the abstract concept of hopeless scenarios. As such, he decided that helping out might be wise.

Materializing with a burst of light on the mountain shortly after Shirou's Unlimited Blade Works, the Pokemon trainer lands with a grunt, having teleported in and skidding out. Eyes narrow slightly as he sees the monarch not too far away, plucking away a couple Pokeballs.

"This is gonna be fun." he mutters, voice dripping with sarcasm. For once, he may live up to that reputation he has in the medbay. With a grunt he flings out the two Pokeballs, materializing Bulbasaur and Charmander. "GO!"

The pair immediately intertwine their energies with Ash, before firing off several sniping bursts - Ember and Razor Leaf, avoiding using the more powerufl attacks available to Pikachu in case they manage to shock their allies in close combat. Doom IS clad in metal, after all, and the rat may be able to control his electricity in unusual ways, but that doesn't mean he can do it reliably in a situation like this. And too far for either Ash or his Pokemon to melee, fire support seems to be their best option.

And, almost before Shirou can hit the ground unconscious, some unseen but gentle force suddenly whips the man up off the ground, sending him flying away from the melee until he's positioned behind.. The glowing fox. Huh. Why isn't Miles attacking, anyway? Is he waiting for something? Perhaps more of Doom's 'Power Multiversal' tricks that he can counter. Or maybe there's some other reason that the rest aren't aware of..

Agony. Sheer agony runs through Saber's body, but no sound escapes her throat. She's still defiantly clamped her mouth shut despite the protective field or the air rushing back. Instead she was breathing through her nose… now, she's trying hard not to scream as lightning flies over her body and roots her to the ground. "….!!"

Raising her sword despite her muscles screaming against the motion, the Servant calls the winds to return to the blade, and they quickly form an even larger whirlwind than before. She swings it swiftly, sending a much more considerable slashing vortex at Doom!

"Was it not you who interrupted me? I did not go out of my way to attack you, 'hero'. I-uff!" As multiple attacks impact against the Doctor's armored form all of a sudden he had the breath knocked out of him, interrupting something that might well have turned into another speech. "You dare?!" he protested as more blows rained on him and he was suddenly hit by freezing cold — the force of the impact did more damage than the temperature itself in this case, but it was pretty effective still. The combined efforts finally caused visible damage as Doom's armor showed scratches, blackened areas and even a gash on his left side.

"You think I only control the environment?" He barked, as he suddenly began to glow again. "By increasing the density of my molecules I grow harder and stronger than ever. Not only that — behold as I grow not just in strength, but also in size!"

And as soon as he said it, he began to rapidly grow. And grow. And grow. Standing there like a veritable giant he glared down at the Union forces (and fox) below, before smashing his open hand towards Saber, intend on squashing her like an insect! Whether he hit or not, the force of the strike would cause quite the tremor as the very mountain of ice shakes!

Once again, Ryotaro is saved only by the power of Den-O's mighty jumps. The minute Doom brings his foot up, Ryotaro jumps. Up, up, higher and higher, once again to that full 45 meters of height, taller than even Dr. Doom currently stands. Below him the ground shakes, and he watches it fall away with alarm. "Th-that was dangerous!" He shifts both hands onto the grip of the DenKamen Sword as he reaches full height. "What do I do now? He's huge…"

It's Momotaros who speaks up, and his answer is simple. "CUT 'IM FROM TOP TO BOTTOM!"

And that, as Ryotaro begins to descend, is exactly what he tries to do. As he falls down in front of Dr. Doom, he swings the DenKamen Sword, letting out a yell and trying to make one long cut from the top of Doom's face, right down, uh… yeah. Right down to the ground, we'll say.

"…this isn't gonna work!" Ash cries out, as Doom becomes giant sized. He flings himself into the air, keeping enough balance to keep leaping away from the boulders as they fall, Bulbasaur and Charmander hunkering down as Ash dematerializes them.

However, rather than giving up, he finds himself plucking out a pair of other Pokeballs - this time, Butterfree and Pidgeotto.

The bird suddenly SOARS into the sky, attempting to cast off a dust of Sand Attack, in hopes of getting in Doom's face. This is camoflague for Ash's REAL attack, however - who flutters innocently in front of Doom.

"Free." <Howdy.>

With that his entire form glows before he FIRES, a loud thrumming explosive sound as he releases Hyper Beam, attempting to pound it into Doom.

Miles stood.. Or rather, hovered there, weathering the storms of Doom. This was all Doom could think of to do with his power? THIS?! THAT WAS ALL?! It was a mockery, an INSULT, to the nature of the power he wielded. At least, it was an insult to the fox who was standing there getting hit with hurricane winds and shards of ice. Or at least, his shield-like energy corona. The fox didn't actually speak, but his voice seemed to echo through the minds of those present.

~You know nothing of the power which you wield, foolish human. You are unworthy of its brilliance.~

And then.. There's a bright glow, the fox's aura increasing in size at an exponential rate for a few moments, before it collapses in on itself, boiled down into a fine point. Shirou is 'thrown' well out of the way, someplace where he'll be safe and secure and unharmed, while the turbo-charged fox works his proverbial magic.

And then, across the sky, there was a line of gold energy, and a wave of lightning-like cosmic force following behind it, at such speed only Doom and possibly Saber or Ryotaro could keep up with. It passed through Doom first, and then the effects followed shortly thereafter; the air itself seeming to tremble and quake, and then a sensation not unlike being cut by a sword the size of Doom's ego.

And now The doom is -fun- sized. That makes it much more interesting, "Now that's something I can target!" Thianel calls out before barking out his next set of orders, "Fireball configuration, all batteries! I want that armor reduced to -slag- before we're done!" he calls out. Down below, Niv spots the giant Doctor and just shakes his head, still seeming to be busy at .. something. "All cannons, fire!" The construct roars out. Similarly Thirix seems to roar in much the same way, a veritable sea of flame and fireblasts pouring out of every battery the ship had. If it were night it'd be bright as day.

When that hand comes down toward Saber and she's left with nowhere to dodge, sshe does the next best thing and raises both hands to catch it, using her indestructible Noble Phantasm as extra surface area to catch the blow and redirect the impact. Even so, to the outside world it seems like the Heroic Spirit's just been crushed beneath the first as a plume of ice shards and debris flies everywhere. Saber's agonized muffled grunt of sheer agony doesn't make it past the fist.

But the attack was only partially a success. She was driwn down to her knees, half-crushe, her whole body aching from the strain it weathered. Even so, once Dr. Doom moves, she stands back up, panting viciously to keep her stamina up. She's covered in blood from the many sizable cuts that opened and haven't healed yet, but no amount of pain would keep Saber down. Hunched over, she glances up with teeth clenched at Dr. Doom's new size… and straightens her posture.

"I think you would do well to not become such an unmissable target!!" Saber roars back, spirit still ablaze. Energy suddenly streams from Excalibur as the blade takes on a golden shine unlike any other present thus far, save for perhaps Miles Prower's own gleam. The unmatched Holy Sword lets loose a terrible windstorm as streams of mana fly about it every which way…

And then, a blinding light spreads from that point, engulfing the entire battlefield for a few brief moments before it shrinks back down into an amorphous, shifting mass around the blade. "EX……."

And then… the blade is swung. With explosive force, a practical comet of golden light bursts into being from the edge and flies right towards Doom's heart. It's thicker than one of his arms, and the trail it leaves makes it seem more like a beam than a blast. "-CAAAAAAALIBUR!!!!"

"You blind fool!" Doom's voice rang out from behind Miles, as he would suddenly find himself surrounded by hundreds of small explosions. There was Doom, normal-sized and leveling a cool gaze at the fox.

And there he was, also behind Saber, throwing a punch at the back of her head.

And behind Ryotaro, sending a blast of pure concussive force at his back!

Ash, too, would receive a similar treatment — Dr. Doom suddenly appeared behind him, attacking with a sword-like beam of pure energy!

Another Doom suddenly started to blast at Young Link with the sidearm he usually carried, whereas yet another — the last — of the many Dooms appeared on the lower end of the Thirix Spire, attempting to locate a weak point and exploit it through brute force!

What of the giant Doom, however? Under the assault from all sides he began to crack, finally evaporating into a wisp of energy — surely this kind of construct had taken a lot of energy to create and control, but somehow Doom had done it!

The weakspot on Thirix? The engines, and a solid slam against them sets the ship rocking. Thianel grunts a bit on the bridge, gripping the dragon-sized control console as a few alarms go of, "Just fix it!" he barks before he even gets a adamage report. WIth the -huge- Doom gone the dragon suddenly hits a few buttons and sets the spire into a hover, and at the same time orders a number of Izzet craft known as Observerspheres to deploy from the ship. Purpose? To pick up any injured, this of course would include Shirou, and anyone else that wanted to make a retreat.

No sooner has Ryotaro landed on the ice than he's hit by a blast of force from behind. Any ordinary person would be sent flying by that kind of force. Even most Kamen Riders. But Ryotaro has the DenKamen Sword set to KinAx. The strength of Kintaros is at his disposal. He takes the blast full on the back, a shower of sparks erupts from the armor, and… he stumbles forward a few steps. That's it. "Ugh!" He definitely sounds as if he's taken a hard hit, but he immediately turns around.

And begins approaching the Doom that's appeared behind him at a steady walking pace. And then he breaks into a jog. And then a run. The DenKamen Sword comes up in both hands, and he launches into a fiery, strong-armed attack, swinging it as if it were an ax!

*ZWAP!*

Ash finds himself on the business end of the lightsaber.

"GAH!" he yelps. The teenager hits the ground with a groan, an angry slash mark across his back, and the faint smell of burnt flesh. His ki kept him from being outright slashed in two, though it still doesn't feel good. In fact, it's doubled by the fact that he's SMASHED into the ground, having been knocked off of a small cliff, skidding to the ground.

Butterfree and Pidgeotto rush to help, before being Pokeballed. "…was savin' this to follow up on the other two, but… now's just as good a time…!" SInce there's no giant Doom, he might as well take out his wrath on THIS Doom.

He releases two Pokeballs, opening up to reveal Pikachu and Squirtle.

Who is in his shell.

Ash LEAPS for the shelled Squirtle, attempting a good, hard spin-kick at the shell. It would ricochet forward, and with any luck smash into the cliffside he was just knocked off of. Bad aim? Not quite - Ash intends on DISTRACTING his Doom. He and Pikachu both rapid-leap back up, the rat's tail glowing before turning a silvery grey. Neither makes a sound as Ash attempts to snap off a good, hard punch upon reaching Doom, aiming for the face, and Pikachu attempts a slash of Iron Tail, aiming for the chest.

Sparks fly as Doom's fist meets no the back of Saber's head, but the edge of Excalibur. She moved so quickly and without any warning that it's a wonder just how she even KNEW of that attack coming from behind. "… no way! That should not be…" possible. "gh." Even so, she withdraws the blade just as the monumental Doom crumbles and leaps back, gasping for breath. As usual, Dr. Doom's advanced sensors would have picked up a very unhealthy rise in body temperature in Saber as a consequence of channeling so much mana. A human shouldn't be able to take it, normally.

But she wasn't about to faint. Steeling her willpower, the Servant remains upright and redoubles her effort, charging for Doom with a quick flurry of blows in store for him!

The explosions are forced away, in a brilliant display of energy and boomies. The fox behind the golden aura is unharmed- but Doom could easily tell that his 'Power Multiversal' is draining Miles quite quickly. Unless the fox finds a source of power he can leech from, and add to his body's reserves, the strain from Chaos Control will be too much for him. But, he isn't quite down and out yet.. He's still got plenty of power to throw around. Which he does.

The Doomclone would find itself being grabbed by the fox's cosmic energies, and flung around like a pinball into various objects- including at least one other Doom, possibly two- while the fox's dissonant thoughts echoed across the minds of those present. ~You are powerful.. Far more powerful than I.. But your power is like Scourge's. No vision beyond yourself. Merely raw force and destruction~

CONGRATULATIONS. YOU GOT AN EXTRA DOOMBALL.

Young Link turns smoothly towards the Doom that was attacking him and starts slashing aggressively at him with his helix sword. There's a ruthless power behind it that Link's righteous nature is barely keeping in check…

The many instances of Doctor Doom that were spread around gave way easily — though some of the counters to their attacks were useless, countered in turn or evaded most of them were destroyed quickly and vanished as they melted into the ground. After a moment, so did those that had remained undamage.

Slowly, the figure of the true Doctor Doom rose from the very ground — through the massive ice, his armor and cape now restored to their original state. The attacks and constructs had taken a lot out of him, for he had created physical clones made from solid energy. However, he was still in control of the Power Multiversial — and thus supreme.

"Destruction, is it," he spat towards the Mobian. "Allow me not to disappoint, for now I shall call on my most destructive ability — the power to disintegrate matter, living or otherwise!"

Bolts of energy crackled from Doom's eyes as a white light exploded from him — this light was not hot or had any sort of impact. Rather than that, it would disintegrate those it touched!

Of course, auric properties afforded some protection from full disintegration. Still highly damaging, however.

~No.~ This was not a plea, nor was it a sound of shock. Rather, it was the fox simply.. Defying Doom's will. Insomuch as his energy corona flaring out, and dissipating- trying to contain the Field Marshal's power from consuming and destroying them all. ..Of course, as the little Mobian himself said- Doom's power was far greater than his, but he would certainly give it his all to protect those also fighting the Doctor. Which.. Well, was much like trying to hold back an ocean of fire with a wicker broom. While still trying to HIT the bastard with his own energy blasts. Not an easy trick, let me tell you. Suffice it to say, Miles can only do so much.. But hey, at least Saber won't go down with all her clothes and armor destroyed!

The light of disintegration washes over Ryotaro, who doesn't even so much as stagger or stumble - he throws his arms out as sparks fly from every inch of the Den-O armor, yelling in pain. "AAAAAAAH!!" And his body is ravaged by the power of Doom. When it finally ends, Ryotaro is left standing for just a few moments, before he drops to his knees, and then onto his front, grip slackening on the DenKamen Sword. For a moment, he lies there, and the Imagin cry out in alarm. But it doesn't even register on Ryotaro. He's busy. Busy mustering up the strength of will to move. Come on. His body isn't destroyed. He can do this. "…not yet…" he mutters. His grip tightens on the DenKamen Sword. "…I'm… not done… yet…"

He stirs.

He shifts.

He pushes himself up, getting one knee under him, then the other. He plants a foot. He *stands*. "Doom… You're too dangerous. Too many people will be hurt, just for your ego… I won't allow it." Ryotaro's hand goes to the handle on the DenKamen Sword. And he starts pulling. Kchunk. Kchunk. Kchunk. Kchunk. Kchunk kchunk kchunk kchunk kchunkchunkchunkchunk! And then he presses it in.

A rainbow-colored traintrack made of energy whips out of the tip of the sword, looping around Ryotaro and laying itself down about a foot over the ice, going right past Doom. Ryotaro launches from a standstill to a run in an instant, and then hops up, planting both feet onto the track and beginning to move forward as if propelled. Rainbow sparks flare at his feet as he crouches down slightly, adopting a stable position and holding the DenKamen Sword poised. As he picks up speed, the air around him begins to shimmer and crackle - one by one, four translucent blue train engines flare up and appear in the air around him, the four AuraLiners of the four DenLiner engines. Energy ripples and surges around Ryotaro, and everything grows bright as the distance closes. And as Ryotaro passes Doom, he looses a final yell-

"Finishing move: DENSHA GIRI!"

-and SLASHES!

"Crank those shields up!" is the first order Thianel gives, and the only one, before the beam struck out at Thirix. The shimmering white barrier splinters and cracks under the strain and eventually shatters, but the brunt of the blast was taken, the rest of it striking through the midsection of the ship, shaking the entire vessel. Again, Thianel quickly barks, "JUST FIX IT!" before any reports come in, but that's when Niv comes over the Comm, «Fall back. I'm going to go have a word with the 'good doctor',".

Thirix slowly moves backward, and the great red dragon can be seen soaring out from somewhere in the spire, red wings sending him not toward Doom but somewhat before and well above the tyrant. "Doctor, you may think your power limitless, but you should know, just as well as -everyone- else, that no power is ultimate here. You -will- be stopped." That said, the dragon starts taking a nice, deep, breath, but when the blast comes out its not any sort of mere dragonfire, Its an utter torrent of blue, red, and even white mana, each with a single goal in mind. Blue to attempt and disrupt the source of power Doom had gained, Red to utterly anihilate any remaining chance of him standing, and white to simply place upon him a righteous wrath that would -not- be halted. Not even by this Power Multiversial.

Disintegration.

It SUCKS.

Ash is smashed backwards, struck down by the massive burst of destructive power, Pikachu and Squirtle taking the blast as well. He skids out, blood on his sides, grimmacing as he attempts to force himself to his feet.

It fails. He falls over with a groan, landing with a thud, Squirtle and Pikachu doing likewise. "…ghhh…"

…this might be bad. He isn't even teleporting out.

Of course, maybe he's not quite done yet.

There's not any time to properly scream. The pain's so immense that it takes Saber's breath awaya moment after the light engulfs the Servant, driving her down to her knees. Her whole body flickers strangely, wounds opening everywhere while chunks of her clothes vanish. The armor completely dissipates into numerous fragments that disintegrate physically, then disperse into a storm of mana. Excalibur similarly vanishes from her hands, and Saber staggers a few feet forward, blood streaming from her nose and mouth, shaking terribly.

By sheer force of will she's still standing, but it doesn't look like she's going to be able to fight after that blast. "Hnnn….gh….gah….

After the blast, the dictator almost dropped to his knees, but as ever his iron will prevailed and — at that precise moment, his power failed him. Ryotaro slashed right across Doom's chest; his reward was a splatter of blood as Doom winced, forcing himself not to cry out from the pain. His power was almost depleted — indeed, he had lost himself in the exuberance of his great abilities, and forgotten that they truly were not infinite.

He yet retained a fraction of it, however. "You … yet stand." Hot blood splattered to the ground, freezing almost immediately. A wispy trail of energy bled from his wound. "Bah! I have come too far … dared to much! I .. shall … fight … on. Once more, I call on the power to disintegrate! This time you'll not survive!"

And the light flashed again. But Doom had weakened and the Power Multiversial did not run as strong as it did before. Though its effect was not quite as powerful as the last time it was still quite a potent attack.

The dragon Niv-Mizzet's stream of energy passed quite harmlessly through the air as … without Doctor Doom keeping the ice floating in the air using the Power Multiversial, nothing was holding it up anymore. And it was falling. Good thing it was quite high up, but the impact wouldn't be pleasant.

Ryotaro skids to a stop about 20 feet past Doom, the train track fading to nothing beneath him and dropping him onto the ice. He stops in his followthrough stance, panting - that took it out of him, and the Imagin are still reeling.

Then the Power Multiversal blasts him full across the back. He stumbles forward and falls, more sparks flaring from his armor, and once again for a moment he is on his face, unmoving.

And once again, slowly, this time with obvious pain and effort, as if it's taking all he has to stand, he comes to his feet. And quietly, he murmurs, "…Kintaros… give me strength, please…" Step. Step. Step. His pace is slow, almost not walking at all. He stumbles forward, closing distance, coming back towards Doom, and hefting the DenKamen Sword one last time. It's a weak, desperate last attack. But it's an attack nonetheless.

And Doom kicks a man when he's down - and pulverized. And his little turtle, too. And his rat.

One word - ow. He's beaten to a pulp. It's questionable if he's even alive - he hasn't teleported out.

However… he shakily rises… before reaching for his Pokeball belt. "…we still stand… and… we're gonna… KEEP standin', Doom… you're strong… but we'll survive."

He opens the balls, revealing his entire team - Pikachu, Squirtle, already out, and Bulbasaur, Charmander, Pidgeotto and Butterfree. All glowing a strange glow. All synchronized with him mentally. And anyone with a psionic sense would likely note he has something special planned.

Something that saved the day, yet last time, he paid pretty dearly for. Something he got insurance for this time. Something that should be impossible.

And Goddish willing, something that'll kick Doom's ass.

"HEXTUPLE HYPER BEAM SMASH!"

With that, all SIX Pokemon abruptly glow with unified power, a loud screeching sound coming, before a KATHRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM as six Pokemon, all firing as one being feeding off of one power source, release that terrible move, something that most of them aren't even in the appropriate evolutionary level for. There's a reason Ash uses this so rarely - it strains him so much. Every one of his Pokemon and he FEEL it as they use their very essences, their life forces, to power this plasma attack, screaming out as they release.

And once it's over, they collapse to the ground, panting. They're through.

When the assault seems to just pass right through Doom the dragon snarls, but quickly has an idea. He's a planeswalker. So he -should- be thinking with portals! Rather quickly he rips open a portal in front of him… which essentially catches the blast he just threw. Another portal had opened a ways behind Doom, and when the blast goes into it, it comes right out the portal infront of Doom, "I will NOT allow you to leave this place!" The planesfire may have lost strength over distance, but its purpose was the same. Tear at the source, rip at Doom, and show him the wrath of those standing before him!
You suffer 13 points of damage.

Miles once again rails against Doom, expending every last ounce of energy he can to the beleaguered warriors desperately trying to fend off the tyrant. Shirou was out. Saber was out. They HAD to bring him down! But.. ..Oh dear. Doom was about to do it again. ~Hold.. Together.. Now..~ Trying to contain or at least dampen Doom's incredible Multiversal powers was hard. Impossible, in fact- Miles could only at best stave off the worst effects which would result in them being 'dead'- they would still be hit, and hard, by it. He could feel the energies washing over and through him- his fur was catching fire, his temperature was reaching dangerous levels, several bones had developed hairline fractures if not broken flat out. Pain in his EVERYWHERE and.. Oh wait, Doom's down and out. Yay.

Doctor Doom was finished. It had taken the last vestiges of the Power Multiversial to simply survive the onslaught suddenly unleashed on him. His armor in tatters, he was lying there on his knees and attempting to stand up, but his muscles failed him. His breath was ragged and he was coughing up blood through his mask — he could clearly feel a broken rib poking into his left lung. Energy leaks were opened all over his armor and his blood gave off strange purplish steam.

And then, the entire ice mountain shook as Doom's will no longer held it aloft or slowed its decent and it began to fall properly.

"Only chance," Doom forced through gritted teeth, "… reroute energy reserves from life support … teleportation device. Still functional …"

As the mountain picked up greater and greater speed, after a second that seemed like an eternity as the elites likely sped for the driven Field Marshal in order to stop him, he was finally surrounded in a soft, yellow glow and disappeared, barely alive.

And a moment later, the mountain crashed back into the ocean.

Ash attempts to drag himself to his feet.

It's pretty pathetic, though… because as soon as he does…

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*

He and his Pokemon are SMASHED by the overall strike. He can barely manage to teleport out…

And vanishes with a flourish of energy, along with his Pokemon. To end up in the medbay.

Ryotaro is not speeding for Doom to stop him. He's exhausted. He has no more in him.

It only barely registers on him when Momotaros yells for him to jump, and that he only does out of a sleepy obedience. The jumping height of Liner Form sends him near a hundred and fifty feet upward, and with perfect timing, the DenLiner swoops down and snags him out of the air.

With the Doctor gone and the ice mountain plummeting, it becomes evident that a lot of people are going to end up in the water. With a quick order to Thirix a full squadron of observer spheres begin to deploy out of Thirix with one goal in mind, to get everyone out of the water and back to safety, most likely in Thirix. For those that can't help themselves once upon Thirix they'd be able to find their way either back to New Washington or possibly to their homes with a little help from Mizzet.

Unfortunately for Miles, he came here to save some rather random, non-descript oceanic Mobians from being /frozen to death/ because it was the only way I could see into getting an opportunity to beat the snot out of Doom- which the good doctor aquiesced too, 'cause he's an awesome player like that. SO.

Miles' work ain't done yet, even though his body is screaming at him to stop, to lay down, and to rest.. He's got to get to work pushing that mountain away before a whole bunch of people down below it freeze to death. /Then/ he can pass out.. Of course by then the Unionites will all be gone, and he'll just be floating there.
