With the apparent death of Doctor Doom, the Confederacy is bereft of its leader. As their AIs suddenly proclaim an intruder alert, they are overridden somehow and shut off entirely. The Union quickly reacts and attacks. Can Alice Maestra, now temporarily appointed as the new Field Marshal save the Confederacy? And just who has the ability to override the faction's AIs and break into a vault so secret that not even Alice Maestra or Dr. Xiang know of it? And what changes will this dramatic development cause?
