The Holy Grail war. A bloody and bitterly fought ritual, fought by mages with magical servants seeking a wish. Yet, two mages, Emiya Kiritsugu and Irisviel von Einzbern simply decided to end the cycle, refusing to use their daughter as a vessel for the Holy Grail. The war screeched to a halt, and Fuyuki was not the magical battleground it had the destiny of becoming.
Ten years later, mysterious artifacts known as Class Cards appeared in Fuyuki, interfering with the Earth's pulse. Each contained a heroic spirit, and two mages, Rin Tohsaka and Luvia Edelfeldt were dispatched to take care of them, each equipped with powerful mystic codes: the Kaleidosticks.
Things… didn't go as planned. The Kaleidosticks, as sentient artifacts, found themselves frustrated as their masters bickered and fought, and so, sought out new masters: Illyasviel von Einzbern and a mysterious girl named Miyu.
