Achievements

This page has for purpose to archive "just for fun" achievements related to the MUSH. Because we can.

RULES!

• One achievement per character.
• One achievement per cast.
• One achievement per TP.
• No achievements for extremely inactive or long since dropped characters.
• No achievements that suggest bad courses of action (such as 'antagonize a fachead').
• No combat code achievements. The focus of the MUSH has long since shifted from using it.
• THIS ISN'T CLEANED UP YET! Some current achievements make break those rules. It'll be fixed eventually.

General

• Wild Blue Yonder - Get hit with a staff smite command 5 times.
• Theme Song Powerup - Inadvertantly summon Ouendan.
• OH MY GOD IT'S FULL OF STARS - Endure birthday spam.
• AND THEY'RE FALLING ON ME - Endure Solid Snake's birthday spam.
• Old Fart - Be from the time when Fearless Leader/MyWiz was director.
• Ancient Fart - Be from before the time when Reliant was second in command/director.
• Jurassic Fart - Be from MCM's Pokemon-based predecessor.
• Punishment - Start a pun cascade.
• Mischampion - Mischannel or mispage five times in a single week.
• Skin And Bones - Be older than Charon.
• Speed Demon - Complete a passing or almost passing app in three hours or less.
• Skid Marks - Have an application approved within two hours.
• Me, Me, Me - Realize it's your own alt you're scening with.
• Hello Me It's Me Again - Scene with an "AU" version of yourself.
• Cheat Death - Play a character from a MUSH that died.
• Lunch - Play a character from a MUSH MCM integrated (ate).
• Here Be Dragons - Build a room/object on the grid.
• There Can Be Only One - Misalt, when the alt in question is not on your alt-list.
• You Are Not On Fire - You know what the "on fire/not on fire" running joke is.
• You Are On Fire - You know who STARTED the joke.

IC Actions

• Show Stopper - Say something on the IC channels that gets a "…" response form at least three people.
• We Are The Champions - Win a tournament.
• We're Gonna Have To Pin This One On Your Face - Earn more than 10 +awards.
• Holy Shit Nathan - Make an opponent lose without attacking him a single time.
• Killed Timecube - Show that even if you're educated stupid, you still have bigger guns.
• "I Don't Know!" - Through an apparently innocent action, manage to get yourself and/or teammates significantly (more) slimed or otherwise exposed to a disgusting substance.
• What Do You Mean It's Not Awesome? - Do something common, mundane, or everyday, but do it in an amazingly over the top way.
• Schizo Tech - Gain a +power from outside your theme.
• We Call Him "Barkeep" - Be given a title or nickname by another character, that five or more people regularly call you.
• I've Got You Now - Either copy someone else's ability/attack using a power copying power, or have your ability/attack copied by one.

Cast/Theme Related

• With Friends Like These - Build a cast from a single theme with at least five separate players.
• Who Needs Enemies? - Build a cast from a single theme with at least five separate players - and most of them are your adversaries!
• Buttload Of Friends - Build five casts from five separate themes with at least five separate players.
• In My Day! - Have/had a character whose series originated prior to 1985.
• Fifteen Miles In The Snow! - Have/had a character whose series originated prior to 1980.
• Both Ways Barefoot! - Have/had a character whose series originated prior to 1970.
• I Just Walked In The Front Door - Have/had a character when applications were not required.
• The Write Stuff - App more OCs than FCs.
• Sticking To Canon - App more FCs than OCs.
• Telling Canon Where To Stick It - App more OFCs than FCs or OCs.
• Two Legs Bad - Play a non-humanoid animal character.
• You're Adopted - Your character is an honorary member of a cast from another theme.
• Committable - Come up with a theme idea that no one believes would work.
• Committed - Come up with a theme idea that no one believes would work and make it work.

Factional

• All Your Base - Be part of an effort that captures half of the Target Zones.
• Are Belong To Us - Be part of an effort that captures all Target Zones.
• I Did It For The Dental Plan - Have an Unaffiliated character join the Union.
• Mr. Badguy - Defect from the Union to the Confederacy.
• How do I get out of this outfit? - Resign from the Union.
• Blow Me To Bermuda! - Retire from being Field Marshal without dying.
• Falling In With A Bad Crowd - Have an Unaffiliated character join the Confederacy.
• Your Own Justice - Antagonize or be antagonized by another fellow Confederate and silence them by force.
• Lute Punishment - Be ordered to hurt yourself and follow the order.
• Redemption - Defect from the Confederacy to the Union.
• Following The Money - Take at least one job from both factions.
• Dangerous Games - Take a job from both factions at the same time.
• Overgamed - Become notorious enough neither faction will hire you anymore.
• The Enemy Of My Enemy - Join one faction after angering the other.
• Just That Crazy - Be hired specifically so the other side can't hire you on two or more occasions.

Player/Character Specific

• Critical Moe - Be responsible for Sanya's moe-per-second radiation counter rising past 1000.
• Ready For The Nutbarn - Have an idea stranger than one of Ash's.
• Making Friends - Be at the receiving end of Nanoha's Starlight Breaker.
• Making Enemies - Be at the receiving end of Material-S's Luciferion Breaker.
• Most. Pathetic. Ever. - Be defeated by Slime in a fair fight.
• There Were A Lot Of Robots - Remember Xiang from before MCM.
• The Shu Is On The Other Foot - Witness Shu Shirakawa's final moments.
• FABULOUSITY! - Have an outfit made by or repaired by Rarity.
• Villain Song - Endure one of Kari-Shaba's musical numbers.
• FFFFFF SHUT UP ALL OF YOU - Catch Snake mavving from one of his secret alts.
• Ten Seconds Flat - Get challenged to a race by Rainbow Dash
• Hell On Wheels - Learn driving from Psyber.
• Holy Hand Grenade of Bludgeoning - Be the target of Optimus Prime's Matrix while it is being used as a blunt instrument.
• The Last Unicorn - Call Amalthea an unicorn.
• Taste Of Defeat - Receive brownies after being defeated by Pegasus.
• Guardian Of The Cards - Be (temporarily) given a magical card by Sakura Kinomoto.
• Motherly Love - Make Fate T. Harlaown want to adopt you.
• The Dark Side - Make Saber change into her ALTER self.
• I'm Very Tired - Manage to make Himei shout a magical girl speech.
• That Won't Be Necessary - Manage to make Homura Akemi shout a magical girl speech.
• That's Horrible… - Make Madoka Kaname cry.
• Want Some? - Be offered pocky by Kyoko Sakura.
• HERO OF JUSTICE - Be saved by Sayaka Miki.
• Bustgunner - See Mami Tomoe using her final attack.
• Manstealer - Have your boyfriend or girlfriend stolen by Hitomi Shizuki.
• Smirk 2.0 - Experience Krezentia Einjager's Black Hole Cluster.
• What is a Man? - Defeat Dracula Vlad Tepes in his normal form.
• A Miserable Pile of Secrets! - Defeat Dracula Vlad Tepes in his bestial form.
• Cleaver of Evil - Witness Kaminagi Setsuko deal a critical/obliterating hit.
• Short Bus To Hell - Use Kiyoko's minibus in a scene. Bonus points if it's to a hellish realm.
• Hot Coolant - Force Lizbet to make up a new attack call on the spur of the moment.
• Original Character Do Not Steal - Fight a robotic duplicate of yourself made by Eggman.

• Heaven Or BrotHell - Join Heaven Or Hell.
• Peace, Friendship And Lasers - Join Mobile Section Six.
• IT'S ALIIIIIVE! - Join Zero Point.
• Nobody Likes You - Join the Last Chancers or Wraiths.

Casts

• Star Trekin' - Acquire runoff from or interact heavily with Starfleet.
• Emo, Moe, Close Enough - Hang out with the Puella Magi crowd and accept the darkness.
• "Isn't It Odd Bob Goes On A Rampage Every Other Time He's Insulted?" - Make an Exalted character Limit Break.
• Can Shiki Kill A Servant? - Hang out with the Nasuverse crowd.
• Friendship Is Magic - Hang out with the My Little Pony crowd.
• Nerves Of Steel - Hang around with the Autobots.
• Fist-Fight With A Freight Train - Stop a berserk Evangelion.
• Do Or Do Not - Prove your worth to the Galactic Empire, or learn the ways of the force from a Jedi Knight.
• Befriended - Hang out with the Nanoha cast.
• The Adventures of Banana, Riddles and Zebra - RP with the Gundam: Universal Century-1 cast.

Staff or Fachead

• I Hate My Job - Become staff or fachead.
• My Job Hates Me - Become gripestaff.
• I Will Kill Each And Every Last One Of You - Become director.
• Looked Death In The Eyes - Survive a meeting in Charon's office.
• Trial By Fire - Police the IC Union channels at least once.
• Cat Herding - Police the IC Union channels at least three times in one day.
• The Void Stared Back - Approve a Warwolf application.
• Gimme Your Lunch Money - Help Hrimfaxi or Benediction savagely bludgeon the appbox.
• Legacy Of Ragnaros - Process 10 or more apps in a single 24 hour period.
• I Am Legend - Process 20 or more apps in a single 24 hour period.
• Perfect Finish - Empty the appbox completely.
• Smooth As Butter - Mischan an incriminating message off the fachead, gm or staff channels and onto a mundane channel.

• Oops - Witness Lain breaking something.
• It's Alright I Fixed It! - See a piece of code be fixed by Lain.
• Good Thing I Had Duct Tape - See a piece of code be fixed by MyWiz.
• The Toaster Is Now An Oven - See a piece of code fixed by Dremarian.
• I'm Pretty Sure That Goes There - See a piece of code fixed by Reliant.
• Lab Rat - Participate in code beta testing.
• Gun Rat - Participate in Dremarian's combat code beta testing.
• YOU BROKED IT! - Break a major piece of code.
• Armageddon Incarnate - Crashed the MUSH program.

TP - General

• Hurting For Plot - Attend a TP.
• Plotting For Hurt - Attend 10 TPs.
• He's Dead, Jim - Die in a TP.
• I'm Getting Better - Die in a TP and return later in the same TP.
• By The Power Of Friendship - Convert a Confederate to the Union.
• Power Corrupts - Convert an Unionite to the Confederacy.
• Toothpicks, My One Weakness! - Do significant damage to a TP antagonist or their plans using an unusual (and apparently harmless) method.
• I Don't Think Insurance Covers This - Be in the way or general area of a major TP weapon's attack.
• That's No Moon… It's A Magical Girl! - Crack a planet or moon open with a TP power.
• Divided By Zero - Break the Multiverse as part of a TP.
• Clap Your Hands - Lend strength to an attack powered by the emotions of a large group of people.
• He Was Never The Same Afterward - Have a close relative to your character (close friend or family) die in a TP.

TP - Specific

• Custodians No More - Discover the effects of Reunification upon the Custodians.
• Gotta Catch 'Em All (Try Not To Die) - Encounter a genuine Legendary Pokemon.
• Mogu Mogu - Have your head bitten off by Charlotte.

GMing

• OW MY WRISTS! - GM a scene with 15 or more people.
• OW MY BRAIN! - GM a TP with 15 or more major players.
• OW MY SCHEDULE! - GM three or more scenes in one week.
• OW MY SAN POINTS! - GM a global TP and go a little nuts after.
• OW MY EVERYTHING! - GM a global TP and survive.
• Monopolizing Villainy - GM a scene with 20 Confederates present.
